Amazon is seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer II to join the AWS Marketplace Offers team. As a Software Development Engineer II, you will be responsible for designing and developing scalable and reliable software systems that meet the needs of our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop software systems that meet the needs of our customers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
- Develop and maintain high-quality software code
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to peers
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity
Requirements:
- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C#
- Experience with software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years of full software development life cycle experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- Experience building and operating services in the cloud utilizing serverless and non-relational database technologies
