Your Responsibilities:
- Financial Accounting: You will be responsible for all aspects of ongoing financial accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, preliminary VAT return, and contract administration.
- Financial Reporting: You will prepare timely and accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements on a monthly basis.
- Financial Policies and Controls: You will implement and control financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure accuracy and compliance with local and international accounting standards, tax regulations, and reporting requirements.
- Process Improvements: You will identify and implement process improvements, leveraging automation in DATEV.
Your Profile:
- Accounting Experience: You will have experience in an accounting role, preferably within an audit firm, a professional services firm, or in a technology-driven environment.
- Accounting Knowledge: You will have excellent knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
- Technical Skills: You will be proficient in accounting software (esp. DATEV) and have advanced Excel skills.
- Soft Skills: You will be reliable, detail-oriented, and have strong analytical abilities, with excellent written and oral communication skills in German and English (business fluent, C1–C2).
- Education: You will hold a university degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
