We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team at Empresa Reconocida. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for investigating security alerts, managing incident response, and monitoring for attacks and intrusions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investigate security alerts and manage incident response to ensure timely and effective resolution of security incidents.
- Manage the security request catalog to ensure that all security-related requests are properly documented and tracked.
- Monitor for attacks, intrusions, and unusual, unauthorized, or illegal activity to identify potential security threats.
- Participate in the evolution of detection capabilities to stay ahead of emerging security threats.
- Document and maintain security use cases and playbooks to ensure that security procedures are up-to-date and effective.
- Assist with the creation, maintenance, and delivery of cybersecurity awareness training for colleagues to ensure that everyone is aware of security best practices.
- Provide advice and guidance to colleagues regarding security to ensure that security best practices are followed.
Requirements:
- Possess a strong passion for Information Security and a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Have 1-2 years of relevant work experience in a security-related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with technology stakeholders.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, or Bash.
- A hacking mindset with a strong analytical mind, flexible mindset, and result-oriented approach.
- Strong problem-solving skills to effectively resolve complex security issues.
- Ability to work in an Agile environment and collaborate with a dynamic, flexible, and collaborative team.
- Fluency in speaking and writing in English, with French and/or Spanish being a plus.
