Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Red Hat Technical Instructor to deliver high-quality training and certification classes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Linux system administration and deployment, as well as excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Set up and teach Red Hat Training classes, both virtually and in-person.
• Set up and manage Red Hat's certification exams.
• Guide discussions with customers to scope training needs.
• Participate in internal projects and new course pilots.
• Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for course material design and assist the curriculum team in reviewing and improving learning content.
Requirements:
• 5+ years in the computer industry with at least 3 years of instruction experience.
• Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) certification or ability to certify within 60 days of hiring.
• Solid background in Linux or UNIX system administration and deployment.
• Exceptional communication skills at all organizational levels.
• Strong course facilitation and management skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time.
• Team-oriented with a proactive attitude and enthusiasm.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Red Hat Certified Architect (RHCA) status or additional certifications, especially on Red Hat OpenShift, Red Hat OpenStack Platform, and Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform.
• Experience in application development or modernization.
• Knowledge and experience with Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS), Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), automation, etc.
• Experience in providing training through virtual environments.
