Job Description

The selected candidate will join the Electrical Storage department of the research center, contributing to the development of hybrid supercapacitor projects. Key responsibilities include project management, modeling, dissemination of results, and laboratory management support.

Applicants must submit the following documentation: application for admission to the position, copy of identity document, curriculum vitae, and copy of titles that grant access to the square. A list or table justifying merits and a list of R+D+i projects are recommended.

The selected person must have a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, Chemical Sciences, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent, and a minimum of 2 years of experience in metal-air battery projects. Participation in at least 4 European projects or equivalent private enterprise experience is also required.

Key skills include analytical, software, calculations, prototyping, and specific skills such as AAS, ICP, DRX, DMA, TGA, DSC, TMA, and SEM. The candidate must also have experience in research centers/companies, a minimum stay of 1 year, and excellent oral and written skills in English.

Publications include scientific articles, theses, presentations at congresses, reports, technical reports, and technical guides. A minimum of 10 published articles and 5 congresses are required. Experience as Principal Investigator, director of doctoral/PhD theses, and leading students' grade/master projects are valuable.

We offer the opportunity to form part of the creation of the Iberian Research Centre for Energy Storage, with a contract until September 2025 and the possibility of continuing in the long term.
