About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to join our Amazon Alexa team in Madrid. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for owning key business relationships, working with internal teams to identify developers, and supporting the ultimate success of partner projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and engage third-party developers, build and cultivate key relationships to drive product launches and business opportunities.
- Work with cross-functional teams to enable successful recruiting and onboarding of partners.
- Develop targeted, compelling, and exciting presentations and demonstrations of Amazon technologies.
- Deliver persuasive, passionate, high-quality presentations to senior decision makers.
- Create actionable plans and execute to achieve big, ambiguous ideas.
- Advocate internally for developer features and functionality that will help facilitate a world-class Alexa-enabled customer experience.
- Manage competing priorities in a complex, ambiguous, and fast-paced environment.

Minimum Qualifications
- Demonstrated track record in mobile, software, or digital business development.
- Strong presentation, sales, and negotiation skills; proven ability to close high-value deals.
- Strategic thinking.

- Demonstrated effectiveness working across functional teams and business units to achieve results.
- Excellent English and Spanish (native or native-like level) both verbal and written.
- Strong analytical orientation: comfortable making data-based decisions.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and an ability to manage multiple responsibilities in parallel.
- Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, innovative, and rapidly evolving industry and business organization.
- Bachelor's degree.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven ability to prospect, recruit, and manage executive C-level relationships, with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience working with emerging technologies.
- Understanding of AI innovations, especially in Generative AI.
- Mobile, digital content, and apps domain experience a plus.
- MBA preferred.
