Job Title: HR Manager

Ontex, a leading international provider of disposable personal hygiene solutions, is seeking an experienced HR Manager to join its team in Buggenhout.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled HR professional to deliver broad HR services to our production plant, employing approximately 600 people. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and motivating a team of 3 people, maintaining excellent employee relations, and ensuring the effective implementation of company HR policies.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Manage and motivate a team of 3 HR professionals to deliver HR services to the production plant.
  2. Maintain excellent employee relations by creating a conducive social climate and taking appropriate action when necessary.
  3. Act as a liaison between management and employees to assist in resolving problems and conflicts.
  4. Translate and implement company HR policies at the factory site.
  5. Advise management on personnel matters and support changes.
  6. Ensure smooth processes throughout the personnel lifecycle, including selection, onboarding, performance management, and workforce analysis.
  7. Make informed decisions on recruitment programs, employer branding actions, and hiring processes.
  8. Guarantee timely and accurate personnel and payroll records.
  9. Lead the department's yearly budget process and monitor performance versus budget.
  10. Improve and monitor performance management by building and maintaining a performance-driven culture.
  11. Represent the interests of the company and its employees in relation to external partners.
Requirements

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced HR professional with a strong background in human capital management and HR tools. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR policies and procedures, as well as experience in managing and motivating teams. They will also have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions and take appropriate action when necessary.
