Assistant Executive Housekeeper

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Executive Housekeeper to join our team at Six Senses Ibiza. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort for our guests.

• Support the Executive Housekeeper in overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department
• Assist in assigning work and daily duties to housekeeping staff
• Prepare and distribute room assignment sheets and floor keys to housekeeping staff
• Assign training and coordinate on-the-job inspections to ensure compliance with established cleanliness standards
• Maintain clear and efficient communication and coordination with the Front Office and other hotel departments
• Assist in monitoring cleaning tasks for room carpets, upholstery, draperies, and deep cleaning projects
• Participate in inventory of cleaning supplies and linen stock to ensure an adequate supply
• Report and record any concerns related to housekeeping service and equipment
• Provide assistance to the Executive Housekeeper in various areas, including host training, coaching, counseling, and enforcement of standard operating procedures
• Generate all housekeeping-related reports and traces from PMS Opera
• Assist in controlling expenses within the housekeeping department
• Report and follow up on any guest complaints promptly and implement appropriate service recovery measures
• Participate in training sessions to enhance housekeeping techniques, procedures, and supervisory skills

• Minimum hospitality diploma/degree from a recognized hospitality school
• More than two years' experience in a similar hotel operational role
• Excellent communication abilities and a keen eye for detail
• Deep understanding of cleaning and sanitation practices
• Ability to develop and implement effective cleaning schedules and protocols
• Intuitive sense of product and service quality
• Passion for excellence and understanding of the sophisticated needs of the luxury customer
• Technical skills in MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Familiarity with hotel systems, including POS and PMS platforms
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Spanish
