Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Automation Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our QA team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our automation framework, integrating it with our CICD pipeline, and collaborating closely with our Dev and Manual QA teams to reduce testing effort to zero manual working hours.

Key Responsibilities
  • Setup and maintain QA automation and performance testing infrastructure for complex end-to-end and integration tests for iOS applications
  • Prioritize and execute tests as part of our CICD pipeline
  • Meet with the software design and QA team to discuss and understand verification protocols
  • Troubleshoot automation software issues
  • Prepare detailed test reports
  • Conduct performance testing of UI and microservices
  • Mentor junior team members and review their work
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field
  • 5-9 years of experience in QA automation (UI and backend)
  • Experience with iOS mobile app automation using Appium is mandatory
  • Experience in API automation using Rest Assured/Apache HTTP Client or similar tool is mandatory
  • Strong background in automating complex workflows is essential
  • Strong programming, debugging/troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with scripting languages like BeanShell and Jmeter for performance testing
  • Experience with RDBMS like MySQL, Oracle, and PostgreSQL is preferred
  • Experience with Elasticsearch and Kafka is preferred
  • Understanding of Web Services - JSON/XML data formats
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good time management and organizational skills
