Field Service Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team at Electronics For Imaging (EFI) in Spain. As a key member of our Business Unit, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer service and support for our digital imaging and print management solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide on-site installation and setup of all printers associated with the Inkjet product lines.
  • Deliver initial and ongoing formal customer operator and printer maintenance training.
  • Perform periodic on-site trouble-shooting and repairs on printers experiencing complex electrical, mechanical, or pneumatic problems.
  • Collaborate with our customer call center to provide detailed technical feedback and support.
  • Participate in after-hours support activities on a rotating basis.
Requirements:
  • Minimum two-years mechanical/electrical engineering qualification.
  • Previous work experience in mechanical, digital, and electronic technology.
  • Demonstrated strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to trouble-shoot electrical and mechanical problems to the component level.
  • Excellent knowledge of PC and Macintosh operating systems.
  • Knowledge of large format printers and/or presses and printing applications is desirable.
  • Fluent in English and local language.
