Process Operator

About the Role

SABIC is seeking a highly skilled Process Operator to join our team in Geleen, the Netherlands. As a Process Operator, you will be responsible for preparing, carrying out, and developing experiments in the context of R&D research.

Main Responsibilities

• Safe operation of polymerization installations, including Polyethylene mini-plants and Polypropylene pilot plant, and carrying out experiments according to plan within set preconditions.
• Processing collected data, observations, and interpretations into a written and/or oral report, drawing conclusions, and making improvement proposals.
• Managing an assigned area of interest, such as equipment, working methods, etc.
• Setting up experiments in consultation with the client.

Additional Responsibilities

• Ability to influence SABIC Europe and Global Partners.
• Ability to balance supportive/steering activities at Site and European level, including go-to advice by local manager(s).
• Ability to work and influence in a multi-cultural, diverse Global Community, while aligning with local and global policy and legal directives.
• Ability to promote local and global corporate values.

Requirements

• A completed training at MBO level, MTS PT, Vapro C, or BTPI.
• Experience with measuring room work, reactors, and key experts.
• We are looking for a process operator with a safety-conscious attitude, strong communication skills, initiative-rich, independent, stress-resistant, well-developed technical insight, makes improvement proposals, critical attitude, team player, and flexible.
• Fluency in Dutch, both written and oral, is essential, and English is a bonus.
