Angular Developer for Industrial SCADA Solution

About the Role:

The SCADA/IIoT software development team at Nordex Group is responsible for the development and maintenance of the SCADA/IIoT solution as a product. We ensure that all requirements arising from the product strategy or field experience are considered in future development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and further development of our IIoT-based SCADA solution with focus on Angular in an industrial environment.
  • Performing code reviews and helping to share knowledge with the team.
  • Ensuring the functionality and quality of the software through unit and integration testing as well as end-2-end testing.
  • Support in build automation (Azure DevOps, Jenkins).
  • Creation of the related software documentation.
  • Working in an agile work environment in a scrum team in an international environment.

About You:

We are looking for a skilled developer with a degree in computer science, media informatics, or a comparable qualification in interface, web, or screen design and web development. You should have many years of practical experience in developing web applications with Angular 8+ and related architectures (MVC, MVMC) as well as RxJS.

Requirements:

  • Confident in Responsive Web Design and microservices and experience in their application.
  • Experience in programming REST APIs.
  • Knowledge of Selenium and DevOps technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Azure, etc.) is a plus.
  • Strong initiative and hands-on mentality.
  • Good knowledge of English, knowledge of Spanish and/or German would be an advantage.
  • Minimum work experience of 3-5 years in a similar position.
  • Availability to travel.
