Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Intern Data Analyst to join our Marketing Analytics team in Barcelona. As an Intern Data Analyst, you will work on real products and data-based insights, leveraging and exploring hundreds of millions of data points.

You will be part of our core business unit, Webfleet Solutions Europe, and help make business decisions based on data. You will collaborate with a cross-functional team, including Data Analysts, Product Managers, Marketing Analysts, and Data Scientists.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the marketing team by setting the pillars and preparing the dataset for the development of machine learning and predictive models.
  • Understand the internal customer problem/journey and carve out the necessary KPIs together with stakeholders.
  • Construct training, validation, and test sets, and pre-process the data.
  • Steer efforts to collect new data types and sources internally.
  • Collaborate closely with marketers, data engineers, and analysts to improve business performance in KPIs such as customer churn, upsell, and prospecting.

Requirements:

  • Strong problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset.
  • Self-driven team player with a passion for results.
  • Experience visualizing and presenting data utilizing Power BI (DAX formulas), Tableau, matplotlib, or Plotly.
  • Ability to make a 6-to-12-month agreement with the university (from a Masters, Doctorate, Undergraduate, or Graduate degree).
  • Fluency in English (verbal and written) is critical.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce (company CRM) is a plus.

It will also be nice to have:

  • Academic experience in building statistical models and manipulating datasets.
  • Ability to utilize different kinds of data sources, such as relational databases via SQL, non-relational databases, and various web interfaces providing structured and unstructured data in JSON, XML, or other common data formats.
