Siemen Gamesa is a global leader in energy technology, driving the transition to sustainable and reliable energy solutions. As a Purchasing Specialist for Electric Components, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the long-term, cost-efficient supply of materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement commodity strategies to ensure cost-effective supply of materials.
  • Contribute to the implementation and usage of globally defined methods, processes, and systems to ensure high process efficiency and compliance.
  • Prepare and conduct negotiations to obtain highest feasible savings.
  • Generate, document, and implement savings to contribute to the success of the business.
  • Execute supplier management processes, including qualification, selection, evaluation, development, and classification.
  • Ensure close cooperation with internal customers to ensure customer care and early involvement.
  • Provide supplier information to projects and conduct project-specific supplier evaluations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, technical studies, or relevant field.
  • Relevant experience in the energy sector.
  • Knowledge of electronics is highly desirable.
  • At least 5 years of experience.
  • Availability for travel on business trips worldwide.
  • Driver's license.
  • Excellent organizational, motivational abilities, flexibility, and empathy.
  • A global mindset.
  • Good knowledge of English (C1-Advanced).
