Delivery Planning Manager Role

The Delivery Planning Manager will identify and assign technical resources and delivery models to projects, focusing on Micro-Teams. AECOM's Global Enterprise Capabilities team offers various delivery models to support regional project teams. Micro-Teams are small groups that support regional colleagues with the long-term delivery of multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessing Project Requirements: Evaluate and monitor regional project requirements, resourcing needs, and existing resource availability.
  • Collaborative Decision-Making: Work with Engagement Partners to determine when a Micro-Team or other delivery model is best suited to support a project.
  • Team Construction and Communication: Collaborate with EC General Managers to efficiently assemble Micro-Teams, especially for projects requiring resources from multiple locations or disciplines.
  • Onboarding: Support the onboarding of EC team members, developing the relationships necessary to support them through any delivery challenges.
  • Performance Monitoring: Design and manage processes to effectively monitor performance of Micro-Teams, focusing on utilization, collaboration, and effectiveness.
  • Reporting: Maintain and communicate data regarding secondments and members of each Micro-Team.
  • Driving Customer Success: Through surveys and other methods of inquiry, ensure both Micro-Team members and partnered regional teams are satisfied with ongoing arrangements.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other responsibilities as required with limited supervision.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who possess the following:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction, or a related technical field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in the engineering or construction industry.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in MS Office tools.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English, both oral and written.
