About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Head of Legal to join our G&A leadership team, reporting to the VP of Finance. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading all company legal matters, from commercial to corporate legal aspects.
Key Responsibilities
- Contract management: oversee customer contract negotiations and ensure compliance with local laws.
- Corporate governance: ensure compliance with laws and regulations in all our jurisdictions, including Spain and the USA.
- Legal policies and processes: set up the legal function for success, implementing new policies and processes to ensure the company's risks are covered.
- Employment law: ensure compliance with local laws for all employment-related matters, including contracts, special clauses, terminations, and option plans.
- Equity management: manage all stock or share option plans, providing best-in-class documentation and monitoring the company pool.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in law, with experience in contract management, corporate governance, and employment law. You will also need to have excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with our sales, customer success, and finance teams.
