We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience in corporate (multi-country) network environments, with expertise in Routing & Switching, WAN/LAN/Wireless LAN/MPLS/Cisco L3/ISE.
The successful candidate will have a good understanding of protocols such as Static, RIP, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, and experience with IaC & Script-based automation and languages (e.g. PowerShell & C#) or equivalent technologies like Ansible/Nomad by Hashicorp.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Aligning with the business and projects regarding demands, (service) requests, and new services.
- Assessing new requests based on architecture standards, policies, and regulations.
- Performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) of major incidents together with senior engineers.
- Providing operational 3rd level support on incidents, solving complex network problems.
- Preparing (planning) network changes for CAB approval and deployment.
- Deploying network changes.
- Documenting solutions and ensuring knowledge transfer within the team.
- Optimizing the current environment.
- Maintaining and supporting projects.
- 5 years of experience in corporate (multi-country) network environments.
- Excellent English skills.
- Ability to work with integrity, ensuring transparency, carefulness, and compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and Code of Conduct.
- Ability to hold yourself and others responsible for measurable high-quality, timely, and cost-effective results.
- Ability to implement changes out of office hours and participate in 24x7 standby shifts.
