Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Office Agent to join our team. As a Front Office Agent, you will be responsible for ensuring a great experience for our guests, responding to their inquiries, and providing them with excellent service.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Guest Interaction: Interact with guests to ensure a great experience at the hotel, responding to their inquiries and providing them with information about the hotel and its services.
  2. Registration and Check-in/Check-out: Greet guests warmly and perform registration procedures, including check-in and check-out, and provide them with room keys and directions.
  3. Front Desk Operations: Complete preparatory Front Desk tasks, including room assignments, rack checks, pre-registrations, group pre-registrations, and processing VIP procedures as instructed by the Front Office Manager.
  4. Communication and Problem-solving: Handle guest and colleague requests quickly, efficiently, and professionally, and attend to guest complaints in a friendly, efficient, and professional way.
  5. Guest Profiles and Reservations: Complete and update guest profiles with new information or feedback, and assist with individual reservations, confirmations, room need requests, and guest concerns.
  6. Hotel Operations: Follow standard operational procedures of the department, carry out duties requested by the department head, and assist other departments when required.
  7. Upselling and Promotions: Inform guests about hotel products, services, and other requested information, and provide them with appropriate room assignments and room keys.
  8. Revenue Management: Check shift revenues, count cash at the end of the shift, and report deviations to the department head.
  9. Knowledge and Skills: Stay informed about hotel facilities and nearby sights of interest, and ensure service areas and equipment remain tidy, well-stocked, and in optimal working order.

Requirements:

  1. Education: High school diploma or Bachelor's degree in hospitality.
  2. Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar position within the hospitality industry.
  3. Language Skills: Fluency in Spanish, English, and German.
  4. Technical Skills: Opera Cloud experience required.
  5. Soft Skills: Excellent oral and written language skills, experience with several hotel operation systems, excellent organization and communication skills, friendly and customer-oriented, attention to detail, problem solver, good listener, and flexible and team-oriented.
