About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Middle School and High School Visual Arts Teacher with expertise in the International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Programme (MYP). As a key member of our team, you will deliver engaging Visual Arts education, manage resources, oversee extracurricular activities, and facilitate community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To design and implement comprehensive Visual Arts lessons aligned with the IBO MYP-DP curriculum.
  • To enhance the visibility and quality of Visual Arts within the school and wider community.
  • To contribute to experiential learning opportunities that inspire and extend our students.
  • To collaborate with the Arts team in building a department that engages and inspires our student body.
  • To support the pastoral care of our students through advisory roles.
  • To safeguard our students by fulfilling duties and cover responsibilities.
  • To participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in Art education and the IB program.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Art Education or a related field.
  • Teaching certification and/or relevant licensure.
  • Experience in IBO MYP & DP Visual Arts.
  • High level of personal artistic skill.
  • UK experience in teaching IGCSE and A Level Art also considered.
