Senior Vehicle Damage Assessor / VDA / Estimator

Are you a skilled professional looking for a challenging role in the automotive industry? We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Vehicle Damage Assessor / VDA / Estimator to join our team at FMG Repair Services Limited.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled individual to undertake the inspection of damaged vehicles, assessing the full extent of the damage, costs of repair, and timeframes. As part of our team, you will identify the correct prescribed repair method, prepare, record, and maintain records of electronic and manual estimates. You will also liaise effectively with insurance companies and customers to explain and ensure they understand the repair methodology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess damaged vehicles to determine the extent of the damage and costs of repair
  • Identify the correct prescribed repair method and prepare, record, and maintain records of electronic and manual estimates
  • Liaise with insurance companies and customers to explain and ensure they understand the repair methodology
  • Work effectively as part of a team to ensure vehicles are repaired to a high standard and returned to customers quickly
Requirements

We are looking for a highly experienced and skilled individual with a solid background in the automotive industry. You will have a strong understanding of repair methodologies and be able to work effectively with a range of stakeholders. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred qualifications include NVQ level 3 / City & Guilds or ATA/IMI qualification, with a solid Bodyshop background as an Estimator or VDA/Vehicle Damage Assessor, Audatex trained. A full UK driving licence is also required.
