EiE Specialist

Ayuda En Acción seeks a seasoned expert in Education in Emergency (EiE) to elevate its position and expertise in this critical sector. As part of the Emergency Unit, the EiE specialist will provide technical leadership at two levels: Headquarters, ensuring organizational positioning; and Country Programs, supporting project quality improvement, training, formulation, monitoring, and evaluation related to EiE.

1. To develop an internal EiE strategy by gathering information and experience raised within Ayuda En Acción.
2. To create an intervention model for EiE within the organization.
3. To prepare and update capacity statements on AeA projects in EiE, as well as develop advocacy plans for the sector.
4. To support National Programs in preparing and submitting project proposals for various donors and in monitoring different stages of actions.
5. To design and harmonize necessary tools, guidelines, and protocols across all education programs.
6. To coordinate the review and development of existing materials on EiE.
7. To design, adjust, or revise simple EiE monitoring and evaluation tools.
8. To actively participate in forums and/or working groups on EiE and lead Ayuda En Acción's participation in INEE network.
9. To advise and accompany National Offices in EiE fora and/or working groups at National Level.
10. To develop EiE training modules and programs that provide a general framework and relevant practical tools for project implementation.
11. To facilitate training and/or other support to local partners to enhance their understanding of institutional donor requirements and reporting skills related to EiE, where appropriate/requested.
12. To support high-quality reports.

The salary range for this role is approximately €50,000 to €70,000 per year, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
