Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a highly skilled Data Center Health and Safety Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Data Center Planning and Delivery (DCPD) group, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and safety of our data center operations.
Key Responsibilities- Influence program development, framework, and strategy to ensure effective health and safety management within DCPD activities.
- Deploy programs that cover health and safety elements of leadership, planning, support, operational controls, continuous improvement, performance management, and ensure businesses are operating to jurisdictional requirements and AWS Safety Management Program (SMP) requirements.
- Review due diligence risk assessments with real estate, preconstruction, construction operations on health and safety aspects of the AWS H&S management program to ensure adequate implementation.
We're looking for someone with experience in compliance program management, legal, governance, audit, risk/loss prevention, or equivalent. A bachelor's degree or equivalent is required, as well as ISO 45001 Safety & Health Management System certification.
