The Project Development Director for Spain will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and executing utility-scale solar opportunities to develop, build, and operate solar projects in Spain.
Key Responsibilities- Implementation, development, and follow-up of development strategy on the Spanish market;
- Build and manage own development team, conducting full permitting process for Spanish market, supervise negotiations;
- Bringing new opportunities and development of internal strategy approach;
- Project development for permitting processes before administration and utilities in order to obtain construction permits;
- Overseeing renewable energy project management of the team;
- Negotiate and secure lease agreements; Research regulatory framework to identify best business development options;
- 3 years+ solar project permitting experience
- Experience in site assessment, grid and construction permitting and grid connection processes;
- Languages: fluency in Spanish and English;
- In-depth solar energy sector knowledge and legal aspects of the permitting process is required;
- Bachelor's degree;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Focused and goal-oriented.
