We are seeking a highly skilled Research Associate to join our team at the Materials Physics Center in Spain.
About the Position
- This is a temporary, full-time position with 37.5 hours per week.
- The salary will be 17,398.20 euros per year before taxes.
- The position is part of a project funded by the European Research Council (ERC) under the Horizon 2020 programme.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research in the field of theoretical physics and materials science, with a focus on electronic and optical excitations in solids.
- Collaborate with our team of researchers to advance our understanding of materials properties and behavior.
- Develop and implement new research methods and techniques to improve our research outcomes.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Physics or Electrical Engineering, preferably in the field of Theoretical Physics.
- Expertise in condensed matter physics and spin-dependent phenomena is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
