Job Title: Video Game Translator: Brazilian

Localsoft, S.L. is a world-class localization company offering translation, testing and audio services. From our headquarters in the Málaga TechPark, Spain, we operate both locally and internationally with clients from many different business areas including leading brands in the Games, IT, Legal and Business industries.

We are currently seeking an experienced English to Brazilian video game translator to join our team in our Localization Department in Málaga, Spain. As a video game translator, you will be responsible for localizing games to your native language, ensuring the highest quality standards are met at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate video games from English to Brazilian Portuguese
  • Work closely with the project team to ensure timely delivery of high-quality translations
  • Collaborate with other translators and linguists to ensure consistency and accuracy in translations
  • Participate in quality control processes to ensure translations meet the company's quality standards

Requirements:

  • Valid work permit for Spain
  • Ability to work in a multicultural, dynamic and deadline-driven office environment
  • Excellent native language skills
  • University degree in Translation or a related field, plus 2 years of full-time translation/editing experience in the games industry or 5 years of full-time translation/editing experience in the games industry (or similar)
  • Capacity to work with CAT tools and Microsoft Office suite
