Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Digital Data Privacy Expert to join our team. As a key member of our Global Digital Services team, you will play a critical role in driving the digital transformation of BASF. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement a robust data privacy strategy that ensures compliance with global regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain a comprehensive data privacy strategy that aligns with BASF's global business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement data privacy solutions that meet regulatory requirements.
- Design and implement data privacy frameworks and processes that ensure compliance with GDPR, CCPA, LDPD, PIPEDA, and other global regulations.
- Provide expert guidance and support to business units on data privacy best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external service providers and implementation partners to ensure seamless integration of data privacy solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging data privacy trends and regulatory changes, and provide recommendations for updates to our data privacy strategy.
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Informatics, Data Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in data privacy, with a strong background in regulatory compliance.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing data privacy strategies that drive business growth and efficiency.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Fluent English language skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with data privacy frameworks and regulations, such as GDPR, CCPA, LDPD, and PIPEDA.
- Knowledge of data privacy best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Experience with data privacy tools and technologies, such as consent management platforms and web compliance tools.
