Photo/Video Manager

We are seeking an experienced and accomplished Photography Manager to join our team at Empresa reconocida. This role will be responsible for defining breakthrough imagery solutions for our studio in Barcelona.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver High-Quality Visual Content: Produce the highest quality photo/video content, including those that require a high degree of problem-solving for our worldwide websites.
- Lead and Develop the Creative Team: Provide supervision, mentoring, training, development, and performance management of the creative team including videographers, photographers, stylists, and digitechs.
- Maintain High Standards: Maintain consistently high standards for accuracy, aesthetics, and productivity.
- Build Innovative Processes: Build innovative processes with global impact from the ground up and execute large-scale team projects.
- Develop Best Practices: Develop techniques and best practices for shooting new categories/projects, and disseminate those practices worldwide.
- Improve Visual Content Quality: Guide the constant improvement of Amazon visual content quality and efficiency.
- Collaborate with External Teams: Interact directly with external teams to provide and receive visual guidance, implement process improvements, and procure and repair equipment.
- Analyze and Improve Processes: Collect and analyze data and testing solutions for process improvements and new initiatives.
- Develop Training and Documentation: Ensure creation of robust training and process documentation.
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in photography or related field.
- Commercial Shooting Experience: Extensive documented experience in commercial shooting, across an array of client environments including editorial, catalog, advertising, and e-commerce.
- Technical Experience: Technical experience in transition to hybridized still and video platforms.
- Industry-Standard Software Tools: Expert-level proficiency with the industry-standard software tools.
- Scripting and Color Management: Knowledge of basic scripting, color management policies.
- DSLR Functionality and Studio Lighting: Expert-level proficiency with DSLR functionality (both still and video) as well as all standard studio lighting techniques and traditional grip practice.
- Still and Moving Imaging Software: Proficient working knowledge of still and moving imaging software for Mac and PC platforms.
- Photoshop and Capture One Pro: Working knowledge of Photoshop and Capture One Pro.
- Communication and Problem-Solving: Self-driven and able to effectively communicate creative ideas and collaborate in a multi-team environment.
- Productivity and Leadership: Productivity-focused and proven to be a quick problem solver. Accomplished in hiring, developing and leading high-performing teams and individuals.
- Photography Process Knowledge: Deep understanding of all stages of the photography process, and ability to provide direction to the team to execute.
