Position Overview:

As a Senior Manager of Scientific Affairs, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our scientific strategy and engagement. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Advisory Board Leadership: Initiate and manage advisory boards, which involves identifying Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), overseeing budget allocations, and coordinating event logistics.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough analyses of scientific literature to extract insights that inform market trends and assist in objection handling.
  • Trend Summarization: Collect and synthesize information on key market trends, providing actionable recommendations for product management and research & development.
  • Committee Representation: Actively participate and represent the organization in various scientific committees.
  • Knowledge Facilitation: Promote knowledge sharing across different departments to enhance collaboration.
  • Global Collaborations: Develop and foster global medical and scientific partnerships.
  • Advocacy and Dissemination: Drive advocacy efforts through participation in scientific congresses and the dissemination of evidence-based information.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a life science discipline, preferably microbiology, business, or a related field. Equivalent experience will also be taken into account.
  • Preferred equivalent work experience in the industry; an MBA is also advantageous.
  • Demonstrated experience in commercial roles, technical sales marketing, product management, sales, and/or laboratory operations.
  • Familiarity with regulatory bodies and their processes.
  • Experience in launching new products and collaborating with commercial teams.
  • Proven ability to navigate and thrive in a highly matrixed global organization.
