About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at MAHLE. As a key member of our mechanical development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing automotive projects from concept to production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop mechanical systems and components for automotive applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical design into overall product development.
  • Perform 3D modeling, GD&T analysis, and tolerance stack-up analysis to ensure design accuracy and feasibility.
  • Conduct theoretical calculations, CFD/FEA simulations, and testing to validate design performance.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and reports to support design justification.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience with FEA and CFD simulations, as well as CAD software such as Ansys, Solidworks, and NX.
  • Strong knowledge of physics, mechanics, materials science, fluid dynamics, heat transfer, thermodynamics, and chemistry.
  • Experience with industrial processes and testing methodologies.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish, with German a plus.
