About the RoleYou'll be working closely with our Regional Network Manager and Data Center Site Managers to ensure the smooth operation of our data center network and connectivity. Your expertise will be crucial in managing interconnection between data centers, reporting on capacity and physical traces between facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and supervise a team or supplier responsible for installing, maintaining, and decommissioning network and server hardware.
- Evaluate and develop implementation plans, test plans, and project timelines for network projects, ensuring they meet our high standards.
- Develop long-haul evaluation and scheduling with cost certainty for last-mile coordination and Level 3 incident management.
- Establish and maintain the network in Data Center Facilities, working with internal teams to provide IT Network Engineering support for various projects.
- Collaborate with business and internal partners to provide secure site-to-site VPN tunnels to the Edged Spain environment.
- Manage NOC and SOC providers, developing strategic plans and forecasts for team and individual performance.
- Supervise team members, delivering performance reviews and addressing staffing needs.
