About the Role

The Chief Accounting Officer - GL Accountant plays a critical role in delivering controllership activities for assigned Legal Entities. This includes financial accounting, reporting under US GAAP, and maintaining a control environment within the entity in line with Corteva policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
  1. Ensure financial accounting and reporting adhere to statutory and corporate requirements.
  2. Process accounting postings upon proper approvals and documentation.
  3. Perform month-end closing activities and resolve subsequent queries.
  4. Prepare and review MTA/MJE/Account reconciliations as per Company policies and procedures.
  5. Provide support to internal and external audits.
  6. Participate in system projects under specific guidance.
  7. Interact effectively with internal and external customers on ordinary activities.

Main Skills Required:

  • University degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 2-3 years of Accounting experience in a multinational company required.
  • US GAAP knowledge preferred.
  • Previous experience in audit or working for a Big 4 is a plus.
  • Business proficiency in English is a must.
  • Advanced knowledge of SAP is an asset.
  • Good Excel skills required.

Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, based on industry standards and location considerations. We are committed to providing competitive compensation packages that reflect your value to our organization.
