The Host will be responsible for managing our automated hotel lobby, combining light reception support with full responsibility for our self-service-style lobby bar. This is a fun, high-energy role where you'll interact with guests all day, helping with check-in issues, serving coffee and snacks, and keeping everything in top shape.
\As the host, you will be based behind the bar, where you will prepare light food and drinks, assist with guest requests, and make sure the space is clean, stocked, and running smoothly.
\- Greet guests and support them with check-in/out or other needs (towels, amenities, room support)
- Run the lobby bar, preparing coffee, soft drinks, snacks, and simple meals (like sandwiches, pizza, and salads) using bar equipment
- Keep the bar and reception area clean, organized, and guest-ready at all times
- Handle cash and card payments, close your till, and complete end-of-shift reports
- Follow checklists to ensure all opening, mid-shift, and closing duties are completed smoothly
- Restock fridges and counters, and manage basic food prep and bar maintenance
- Create a friendly, welcoming environment for guests
