We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our team at the Instituto De Salud Global De Barcelona (ISGlobal) for a 4-month project focused on creating a platform to integrate data from genomics and wearables for physical activity management.
Key Responsibilities- Develop code to connect devices with Garmin SDK
- Analyze data generated from wearables to be connected with BLE to Garmin
- Implement different visualizations of several metrics in Garmin devices
- Analyze data generated in real scenarios to validate the implementation with data obtained from gold standard procedures
- Master's degree in Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related fields with a focus on data analytics
- Programming experience in R and Python
- Experience with Garmin devices SDK development
- Excellent organizational and teamwork skills, with the ability to work autonomously and proactively
- Fluency in spoken and written English
- A dynamic and collaborative research environment
