About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Operations Safety Manager to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in driving operational excellence, ensuring the health and safety of our employees, and maintaining compliance with local regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the health and safety function across multiple sites, ensuring the delivery of objectives and maintaining high standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, reducing health and safety risks and increasing productivity.
  • Develop and maintain robust reporting regimes for H&S statistics, providing actionable insights to inform business decisions.
  • Provide authoritative advice and guidance on health & safety matters, supporting business change and driving cultural transformation.

Requirements:

  • Education to a degree level and qualification in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) or related field.
  • Relevant experience managing a team and complying with local Health and Safety legislation.
  • Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English and the local language.
  • Chartered membership of a Human Resources industry body (e.g., IOSH) is desirable.
