About The Role
As a Senior Backend Engineer L3 at Cobee, you'll play a crucial role in revolutionizing employee compensation. You'll collaborate with a dynamic team to design, build, and optimize robust backend services powering seamless payment solutions for our global user base. Although the role is remote, you must be based in Spain.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Producing high-quality, maintainable code and continually improving it.
* Focusing on performance, given the complexity of data structures and the high volume of requests handled daily.
* Testing your code (unit tests, acceptance tests, integration tests, load tests, performance tests) and proposing/implementing performance improvements.
* Understanding existing architectures' capabilities and limitations, evolving them to meet future product requirements.
* Learning and helping others develop great quality code.
* Defining and implementing technical safety measures within the organization.
Salary: €80,000 per annum (based on national standards for senior engineers in Spain),
