Flowserve is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to lead and deliver human resource services and initiatives for our Coslada and Tarragona sites.

This role reports into the Regional HR Manager, South Europe.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading local labor relations, including unions and work councils, and ensuring flawless execution of specific global and local projects.

They will also optimize human capital by ensuring organizational structure and design is in alignment with business needs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Partnering with all levels of people managers to provide professional-level consulting and decision-making support for all aspects of the employee lifecycle.
  • Practicing and demonstrating a high level of competence and professional HR knowledge, tactical skills, and expertise.
  • Providing coaching and counsel on performance, compensation, career development, etc. that aligns to and supports business strategy and attainment of objectives.
  • Effectively guiding leaders through difficult situations, employee relations, and conflict.
  • Helping identify and develop talent by ensuring clear development and succession plans are in place.
  • Supporting site-level employee engagement initiatives, including survey participation, and driving employee and manager accountability for plans to monitor and improve engagement.

The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of prior HR Business Partnership experience, ideally in a multinational, industrial, and matrix environment.

They will also have depth of knowledge in Spanish employment law, labor relations, and negotiations, as well as strategic thinking to anticipate challenges and address issues that benefit the organization.

Strong consultative skills and the ability to influence without direct authority are essential, as is exceptional customer service, emotional intelligence, and empathy.

Fluent English and Spanish language skills, both written and spoken, are required, as well as working knowledge of Workday and Case Management tools.

A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management is preferred, but a combination of great practical experience and professional HR skills will be favorably considered.
