Global Forwarding Logistics Coordinator

Responsibilities:

* Get familiar with the end-to-end international shipping process, from purchase orders to cargo delivery
* Learn about and manage key documentation and terminology essential to global logistics
* Assist internal teams and third-party agents in supporting global forwarding operations to ensure smooth processes
* Support problem-solving and process adjustments by collaborating with more experienced team members to address customer needs
* Help coordinate shipment tasks, such as tracking approvals, managing pre-alerts, and preparing basic documentation like invoices
* Assist in maintaining strong customer relationships by responding to straightforward inquiries and escalating issues to senior team members as needed
* Provide support during customer business reviews by helping prepare documentation and basic reports
* Gain introductory exposure to logistics operations across different regions, learning about various challenges and solutions

Qualifications:

* Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
* A passion for solving complex problems and delivering top-notch service
* Fluent in English and Spanish
* Currently pursuing education in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or a related field
* Experience or coursework in logistics, transportation, or supply chain
* Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team setting
* A commitment to fostering diversity and inclusivity in the workplace
