About the Role

The Maintenance & Engineering Manager will oversee the maintenance and engineering functions at the plant facility, leading a team of skilled technicians and engineers to ensure optimal plant performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and lead the maintenance and engineering teams to achieve high levels of asset uptime and efficiency.
  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies to optimize plant performance and reduce downtime.
  • Collaborate with the production team to identify and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and provide training to staff.
  • Develop and manage the capex budget for the maintenance and engineering functions.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts and equipment.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • At least 7 years of experience in a maintenance or engineering role, with at least 3 years in a leadership position.
  • Strong technical knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and maintenance practices.
  • Proven experience managing capex budgets and leading large-scale projects.
  • Experience with Asset Management Systems and related software tools.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on root-cause analysis and corrective action.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
