About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Barcelona, Spain. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our tramway systems, including maintenance, repairs, and upgrades.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement maintenance plans to ensure the reliability and availability of our tramway systems.
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance activities to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of maintenance activities with other business functions.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including RAMS (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Safety) reports and equipment life potential studies.
  • Monitor and control modifications and activities, and propose actions to improve customer satisfaction.
  • Implement and follow up on the Calibration Plan for the Barcelona Tramways Project.
  • Monitor and analyze technical problems with technologists, suppliers, and other participating units of ALSTOM in the projects.
  • Elaborate technical reports on breakdowns and control software versions of electronic equipment.
  • Analyze and study the implementation of predictive maintenance techniques.
  • Follow up on repairs made by suppliers and guarantee compliance with quality and environmental norms.
  • Generate material coding requests and identify materials for purchase from non-captive suppliers.
  • Plan and manage renovation projects for the tram system.
  • Plan preventive maintenance and industrialize tramway operations.
  • Release "Troubleshooting" documents to improve the efficiency of corrective maintenance.
  • Install and update software and hardware, removing malicious software.
  • Manage third-party companies that configure equipment and perform regular maintenance on hardware and software components.
  • Ensure compliance with the requirements of the Integrated Safety, Quality, and Environmental Management.
  • Manage human groups to carry out renovations of different systems and reach KPIs commitment.
About You

Fluency in English is a must, and knowledge of French is desirable.
