Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our team at Maersk. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth execution of customs operations and compliance with international customs laws.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and execute activities related to customs operations, including embarkment, disembarkment, entry, exit, movement, deposit, or transit of goods across borders.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support the administrative stream, performing skilled technical, administrative, or operational tasks.
  • Work independently, applying standards and making departures from established processes to resolve problems.
  • Exercise independent judgment within defined boundaries and guidelines, typically under supervision.
  • Develop skills through job-related training and on-the-job experience within a specific job discipline.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Knowledge of standardized work routines and methods.
  • General facts and information about customs operations and compliance.
  • Ability to escalate non-routine problems to a more experienced colleague or supervisor.
  • Limited job and business knowledge at the time of hiring.
