About the Role
As a Speed Planning Analyst, you will play a crucial part in shaping the future of Amazon's European network. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring that every customer receives the speed, quality, and reliability they expect.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Analyse data and gather feedback from stakeholders to identify inefficiencies in current operations.
- Establish frameworks to ensure the balance between quality, speed, cost, and other factors are optimised.
- Share ideas with colleagues and leadership on how processes can be improved.
- Regular reviews of process efficiencies, offering data-led solutions for changes that will see long-term improvements.
A Day in the Life
You will be part of a team driving major projects to standardise processes and make improvements to operations. This will involve being in regular contact with senior management and a wider group of stakeholders to define project requirements and update them on status, risks, and impacts.
About the Team
Amazon Extra Large (AMXL) looks after heavy items like furniture and large home appliances. Our team manages the entire service, from supply chain fulfilment to delivery and returns. We deliver large items, unpack, assemble, and install them, and take away old items where needed.
Requirements
- A degree in business, supply chain, transportation, economics, or a technical field.
- Relevant experience working in a supply chain, transportation, project management, or management consulting role.
- Relevant experience in project management or management consulting, including handling multiple ongoing projects.
- Relevant experience using Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
- Relevant experience of communicating with a wide range of stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in process improvement.
- Experience in analytical tool building.
- Understanding of SQL.
- Experience with data visualisation tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QuickSight.
