About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Rust Software Engineer to join our backend-focused team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building and deploying backend Rust services for GraphQL federation and other transversal features. Your expertise in Rust will help us maintain and improve our open-source libraries, such as Sangria, written in Scala. You will also work collaboratively with a high degree of autonomy in a group of international peers on a rapidly growing product using cutting-edge technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Building and deploying backend Rust services for GraphQL federation and other transversal features
- Maintaining and improving open-source libraries, such as Sangria, written in Scala
- Participating in on-call rotations and working collaboratively with a high degree of autonomy
- Contributing to the development of new features and services using Rust and other technologies
Requirements
- Experience in building modern and scalable backend services in Rust
- Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS
- Experience working with and consuming REST or GraphQL APIs
- Ability to bring ideas and be proactive in proposing solutions and improvements to the codebase
