The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SW requirements analysis, implementation, development, and verification of SW to control electronic boards or equipment, as well as experience with HW/SW integration and management of instrumentation.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop software solutions for test equipment automation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement software systems
- Conduct thorough testing and validation of software solutions
- Maintain and improve existing software systems
The role requires a deep understanding of software development principles, including Agile methodologies, version control systems (e.g., Git), and automated testing frameworks.
Requirements and QualificationsTo be considered for this position, you must have:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in software development, preferably in the aerospace industry
- Excellent programming skills in C# and Python, with experience in WPF and WCF
- Familiarity with communication protocols (TCP-IP, ZeroMQ) and hardware integration
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and quality
Prior experience with test automation using innovative methodologies (Autotest, Big Data, Machine Learning, IoT) is highly desirable. Additionally, knowledge of single-board computers or System on Chip (SoC) programming, LXI/IEEE488 equipment programming, Linux and Windows operating systems would be beneficial.
