Als Logistiek Manager Operations zorg je ervoor dat alle operationele processen van Amazon efficiënt en veilig verlopen. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor de dagelijkse operationele activiteiten van onze logistieke teams, waaronder de ontvangst, sortering en verzending van producten.

Jouw taken zullen onder andere zijn:

  • Cultuur van veiligheid en welzijn creeren, bewaken en stimuleren;">
  • Analyseer en implementeer veranderingen om de kwaliteit en productiviteit op een consistent hoog niveau te houden;">
  • Houd toezicht op projecten om processen te stroomlijnen, de productiviteit te optimaliseren en de kwaliteit van de dienstverlening voor klanten binnen jouw verantwoordelijkheidsgebied te verhogen;">
  • Analyseer de prestaties van de ploegendienst ten opzichte van relevante bedrijfsdoelstellingen en voer acties uit om onze operationele processen te verbeteren;">
  • Werk samen met collega's op managementniveau om ploegendienstpraktijken te standaardiseren.">

Je werkt in een ploegendienst en zorgt ervoor dat deze zo productief mogelijk is. Jouw belangrijkste focus zal liggen op het bezitten en stimuleren van een veiligheidscultuur, het handhaven van kwaliteit en het verschuiven van prestatienormen. Je houdt ook toezicht op procesverbeteringen binnen jouw regio en stimuleert de implementatie. Een typische dag is gevarieerd en omvat alles van routinematig teammanagement en dagelijkse operationele verantwoordelijkheden tot procesverbetering en grootschalige operationele noodtaken. Je zult ook een rolmodel en mentor zijn voor nieuwe managers.

Amazon Logistics, of AMZL, verzorgt de 'last mile'-bezorgtaken in samenwerking met externe distributiebedrijven. We maken gebruik van creatief denken en initiatieven voor continue verbetering om miljoenen fysieke producten in handen van onze klanten te krijgen. Ons doel is om de bezorgervaring van onze klanten zo soepel mogelijk te laten verlopen en wereldwijde bezorgoplossingen uit te rollen voor onze nieuwste concepten, zoals Amazon Fresh, Prime Now en Amazon Restaurants.
