As a Senior Automation Engineer at Editorialist, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our automation framework, ensuring seamless integration with our CICD pipeline. Your expertise will help us streamline our testing process, reducing manual effort to zero hours.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement complex end-to-end and integration tests for iOS applications
  • Prioritize and execute tests as part of our CICD pipeline
  • Collaborate with the software design and QA team to discuss and understand verification protocols
  • Troubleshoot automation software issues and prepare detailed test reports
  • Conduct performance testing of UI and microservices
  • Mentor junior team members and review their work
About You:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field
  • 6-9 years of experience in QA automation (UI and backend API)
  • Experience with API automation using Rest Assured/Apache HTTP Client or similar tools
  • Strong background in automating complex workflows
  • Excellent programming, debugging, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with scripting languages like BeanShell and JMeter for performance testing
  • Knowledge of RDBMS like MySQL, Oracle, and PostgreSQL
  • Experience with Elasticsearch, Kafka, and Apache Storm
  • Understanding of web services and JSON/XML data formats
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good time management and organizational skills
