Job Description

At Abbvie, we are committed to making a remarkable impact on people's lives across various therapeutic areas. We seek an experienced Government Affairs Manager to deepen our understanding of the healthcare environment, identify opportunities, and drive stakeholders' engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain awareness of the Spanish environment and update local teams on relevant information from our Global and Worldwide Commercial (WE&C) organization.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to accelerate and maintain market access for our brands.
  • Develop and implement institutional advocacy plans in each region to position Abbvie as a partner of the NHS.
  • Represent the company in government hearings, public meetings, and other events, serving as the primary spokesperson.
  • Collaborate with industry associations and other organizations to promote Abbvie's objectives.
Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in government affairs or policy, preferably in-house, trade association, or consulting firm.
  • Proven track record of prioritizing and executing complex strategies involving regional and national policy stakeholders.
  • Experience with commercial brand team strategy development and successful advocacy project management.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the Spanish healthcare environment, market mechanics, healthcare policy, and funding pathways.
Compensation:

We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, plus benefits.
