Purchasing Specialist

Join our team at DSI Underground, a leading supplier of ground support products, systems, and solutions, as a Purchasing Assistant. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for controlling all aspects of ordering, from raising initial purchase orders to delivery of stock into our system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administering order acknowledgements and confirmations, including follow-up and taking actions on deviations from purchase orders.
• Giving purchasing support to internal users.
• Identifying, preparing, and proposing sourcing activities.
• Updating stock records accordingly.
• Onboarding suppliers, ensuring imports are organized with relevant customs requirements.

Requirements:

• A degree in logistics, economics, or supply chain management or a related field.
• 1-2 years of work experience in administration and service, preferred but not required.
• Working knowledge of MS Office skills.
• Very good command of English language; other languages skills will be an asset.
