Senior Vehicle Damage Assessor/VDA/Estimator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Vehicle Damage Assessor/VDA/Estimator to join our team at Zigup Plc. As a key member of our Accident and Collision Repair team, you will be responsible for assessing the full extent of vehicle damage, preparing and maintaining accurate estimates, and liaising with insurance companies and customers to ensure timely and cost-effective repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of damaged vehicles to assess the extent of damage and costs of repair
  • Prepare and maintain accurate electronic and manual estimates, including identifying the correct prescribed repair method
  • Liaise with insurance companies to obtain authority to repair vehicles at estimated costs
  • Effectively communicate with customers, engineers, and technicians to explain and ensure understanding of repair methodologies
  • Stay up-to-date with all repair methodologies and manufacturers' literature and bulletins

Requirements:

  • NVQ level 3/City & Guilds or ATA/IMI qualification in a related field
  • Proven experience as an Estimator or VDA/Vehicle Damage Assessor in a bodyshop environment
  • Audatex training and a full UK driving licence
