Inspector - Terminal Operations Specialist

As a Terminal Operations and Inspection Expert at Core Laboratories, you will perform complex inspection work in petroleum, petrochemical, gas, grain, oils, and fats terminals and refineries. You will also conduct inspections on board barges and ships, adhering to industry standards and procedures published by API, Fosfa, Gafta, and Saybolt.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist other inspectors and Operations department personnel in their duties.
- Ensure efficient work at the location to meet client needs accurately and on time.
- May work at different locations and on offshore operations as requested by the company.
Requirements:
- Perform visual cleanliness inspections of tanks, including entering confined spaces.
- Verify the accuracy of measurement and sampling equipment.
- Work safely in the presence of hazardous materials.
- Take product measurements and samples, and complete required reports and forms.
Competencies:
- Autonomous execution of jobs, requiring reasoning and initiative.
- Basic use of English language needed to perform the job.
Education and Certifications:
- Must have a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
- Required to maintain proper levels of automobile liability insurance and meet all state requirements on vehicles used for Saybolt assignments.
Additional Requirements:
- Local travel and occasional out-of-town assignments are required.
