Job Summary
Airbus is seeking a highly skilled Global Inventory Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Global Support contract, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing inventory levels and demand management activities to support the A400M Global Support contract.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead the definition and implementation of internal processes and KPIs to maximize advanced planning of spare parts, ensuring the right balance between financial constraints and contractual requirements.
- Build and maintain a strong working relationship with international teams involved in the contract, including local teams, customers, supply chain, and logistics teams.
- Develop and maintain a solid business model with various functions supporting MRO activities worldwide for our customers under a PBL contract.
- Ensure timely delivery of solutions and support for new projects.
Key Performance Indicators
- Inventory levels management for the A400M Global Support contract.
- Advance planning and forecasting processes to maximize spare parts availability.
- Customer fleet availability and satisfaction.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or Physics.
- Strong knowledge and experience in Supply Chain and logistics areas, including APICs and logistics certifications.
- Expert-level knowledge of SAP R/3 (Logistic-Production module) and experience in production, planning, inventory, and purchase orders management transactions.
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects and adapt to a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
